We are committed to your personal privacy. We do not sell, give or rent the names and addresses of our customers to any third parties. We respect your privacy. Your return e-mail address is only used to respond to e-mail's we receive. Addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not sold or shared with third parties.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Secure Payment Options
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card and PayPal along with Business or Personal Checks. All transactions are handled through a SSL secure server. All prices are shown in U.S. dollars, all payments either by credit card or by check must be drawn on a U.S. Bank. We do not accept any international payments.
Data Accuracy
Area Rugs Plus LLC. makes all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy, correctness and reliability of the site content, but we make no representations or warranties as to the site's accuracy, correctness or reliability. Area Rugs Plus LLC. reserves the right to correct improperly priced items at any time. In the event an improperly priced item is discovered after credit card processing, Area Rugs Plus LLC. will promptly void the sale, issue a refund via the same method used to purchase the item, and give the customer an opportunity to purchase the item at its proper price.
Cancellation of Orders
You have 72 hours from the time the order is placed to cancel the order for a full refund. If after the 72 hours you wish the order cancelled, we will attempt to cancel the order with the manufacturer, if the order can not be cancelled with the manufacturer, there will be a 25% restocking fee charged. Orders should not be considered cancelled by you, unless you receive from Area Rugs Plus LLC., a cancellation confirmation number, which you will only receive upon our verification with the manufacturer that the order has been cancelled.
Order Confirmations
Order confirmations are automatically sent to the billing address email given by you during checkout. If upon placing your order online, you don't receive an email confirmation within a few minutes, please contact us immediately at 973-406-7928 or by e-mail at support@arearugs-plus.com. Upon receiving your order confirmation via email please review all aspects of the order for data accuracy, you have 72 hours from the time you receive the order confirmation to make any correction to the items listed on the order. If after the 72 hours you wish the items on the order changed, we will attempt to make the change with the manufacturer, if the order can not be changed with the manufacturer, there will be a 25% restocking fee charged. Orders should not be considered changed, unless you receive from Area Rugs Plus LLC., a confirmation email outlining the changes you requested, which you will only receive upon our verification with the manufacturer that the order has been changed. Upon receiving the aforementioned email confirmation, you will be required to reply to the change order as verification by you of the changes.
Order Accuracy
Please check your order confirmation email for accuracy. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the order placed online or over the phone is accurate. Area Rugs Plus LLC. will not assume any cost to exchange items purchased in error. If a replacement item is necessary, Area Rugs Plus LLC. will create a new order and refund the returned item less return fees, as defined in the Return Policy section.
Delivery Times
While all products are checked for availability, items may still become backordered after the order has been placed. Cancellations fees will not apply to backordered items with lead times greater than 30 days. We will notify you if an item is backordered and has a lead time greater than 30 days. After notification, you will have three business days to cancel the backordered item without cancellation fees.
Return Policy
All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from receipt. All items must be in new condition and in their original packaging for resale. Items which have been installed can not be returned. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returns. Shipping charges are not refundable. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Your credit will be issued upon inspection by Area Rugs Plus LLC. Please contact Area Rugs Plus LLC. for a return materials authorization (RMA) at 973-406-7928 or via e-mail at support@arearugsplus.com prior to shipping anything back. All returns must have a RMA number enclosed in order to insure proper crediting, and must be shipped fully insured.
Refused Deliveries
If the product is refused upon delivery, standard restocking fees don't apply, instead, the customer becomes responsible for the freight charges both to and from the manufacturer, as well as the manufacturer’s restocking fee, which may total to greater than 50% of the purchase price.
Damaged Shipment or Defects in Merchandise
Upon receipt of your product, please inspect the packaging to ensure that it has not been damaged. If the packaging or product has been damaged, be sure that it is noted by the carrier on all shipping documents and contact Area Rugs Plus LLC. immediately at 973-406-7928 or by e-mail at support@arearugsplus.com. Any claims for merchandise defects must be made through our customer service department at 973-406-7928 or by e-mail at support@arearugsplus.com within 5 days after receipt of merchandise. We will send a replacement part or replace the entire product at our discretion. No refund on broken products, if you choose to return a broken product without requesting replacement, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. All returns must have a RMA number enclosed in order to insure proper crediting, and must be shipped fully insured.
Sales Tax
Area Rugs Plus LLC. is a registered corporation in the State of New Jersey and is responsible for collecting New Jersey state sales tax on all orders shipped within the state. Our shopping cart will automatically calculate this tax on all orders shipped within the state of New Jersey.

Shipping within the continental United States
- Shipping is Free for orders over $100.00 via Ground Shipping to locations within the continental United States. For orders up to $100.00 there will be a $10.00 shipping & handling charge added at the time of checkout.
- Large items or orders may need to be shipped using freight depending on weight and size. You will be advised of the cost before shipping. All prices are quoted in US dollars.
- Any additional shipping fees that result from additional services provided at the time of delivery are the responsibility of the customer. This includes indoor delivery of products shipped via freight companies and / or rerouting of packages to an address different than the "ship to" address provided at the time of ordering.
- Signature service is not offered unless requested upon placing your order, unless this service is requested Area Rugs Plus LLC. will not be liable for any items lost or stolen during shipping.
- In the event that an item is lost and / or damaged during shiping a claim will need to be filed with the carrier and the outcome of this claim received prior to the issuance of credit and / or replacement. Credit and / or replacement cannot be issued unless the claim is settled successfully.
